Hello!
Thank you for stopping by! I'm Malinda O'Brien, Owner, Interior Stylist, and professional Home Stager. My hobby of decorating and home staging has blossomed into the foundation of White Dog Home is today.
My husband and I lived in Roswell, GA with our two dogs, Rudy (8 years old) and Healey (3 years old). Yep, they are both white...creme english retrievers. Hence, White Dog Home. We also have a mini-Australian Shepherd (Cali). I wanted another dog, my husband didn't, so we compromised and we got a third dog. :) We made the move to our Lake home on Lake Lanier five years ago. Wanting my business to serve my community, I established our new location in the Midland District of Gainesville, GA.
The design rule I follow has always been
...live with what you love and you will have a happy home.
Of course, I have other beliefs about design, but this one "rule" has been my guide in selecting products for my home, the store and my clients. I've been told I have a "knack" for mixing, layering and restyling using pieces you already own. Which reminds me, there is another important mantra I adhere to... yes, you can and should find a place for that cherished heirloom. We're happy to help you.
