About Me

I'm Malinda O'Brien, Owner, Interior Stylist, Professional Home Stager, AirBnb Stylist, and Design Addict. I founded White Dog Home + Malinda O'Brien Design with a mission of helping people love the rooms they live in.

My husband and I moved to Lake Lanier nine years ago with our two English Goldens, Rudy and Healey. We also have a mini-Australian Shepherd named Cali. (I wanted another dog, my husband didn't, so we compromised and got a third dog.) 😀 Yep, there is dog hair everywhere!

The design "rule" I follow has always been

...live with what you love and you will have a happy home.  

Of course, I have other beliefs about design, but this one "rule" has guided me in selecting products for my home and clients.  I've been told I have a "knack" for mixing, layering, and restyling, and I love utilizing both old with new and using pieces you own and cherish.
